A RIG is a collection of components that work in conjunction with one another to make up a single unit..right? What always sucks about these threads is rather than seeing a RIG it just turns into pics of everyone's stuff just piled together.

IMHO, a rig is only a system that you play through individually. Meaning, if you have to unplug ANYTHING to play through something different, than it's not part of the current rig you are playing through.

It turns into.....let's see everything you own. But from the OP's original post, I'm pretty sure that's what he was looking for.

Well, I have several rigs.

One Marshall type rig uses a CCV and Aldrich amp heads, four 4x12's, multiple rack pieces and power amps.

My Mesa rig consists of a Triple and 2C++, two 4x12's and EQ's/pedals.

I also have a Mesa Triaxis rig with effects unit, custom Boogie EQ and Strategy 400.

Typically I'm running through four 4x12's. Using one 4x12 sounds like shit to me. lol

So my pic is not limited to a single rig. :D
