Currently I run a cheap rack rig
Rocktron Chameleon and a CRATE SPA 200 Guitar Power Amp...for the price it was a steal and actually is half decent.
Anyways...here is my question.
I currently do not have the funds for a nice guitar cab...however on craigslist I always see nice PA speakers in great condition for cheap prices. Maybe because they are hard to move...I dont know.
Anyways...is it unheard of to use PA speakers as a cab alternative in a rack set up. I believe the Chameleon has speaker emulations on it...so thought it could work.
Comments and advice would be appreciated...just want to know if its a) doable and b) if you can get good sound quality out of it.
