Singtall axe-fx II presets

oh, and you must be running beta 11 firmware for these to work.

basically, what i do is tweak each amp model to get it close to my original Singtall Krunch preset (tonally). that may involve eq and/or making changes to the amp's deeper editing controls.

i added a gate/expander up front, cause i hate noise thanks to years of using Rocktron preamps (which are dead quiet).

i added a tube screamer with my tweaks to push the preset into high gain lead.

also, for leads i kick in the delay effect. feel free to add in or use what you like.

these presets are meant to be a starting point for users to tweak into something that they like. if you can use it as-is, then that's fine too.

if anyone would like me to make the chain different from the very get-go, please tell me what you would like in the chain and i will make all future presets that way.

i will update the presets often and change the contents of the download folder, so download every once in awhile to get the updates.

if anyone wants to donate some change to keep the presets coming, send any donations via paypal to rossjjohnson@gmail.com my wife will appreciate it for sure.

i have had the axe-fx II for what, a couple months now? and i'm just now coming out with presets that i feel are good enough to put out there as "pro". the axe-fx II has just so many options that it can be crippling.

some tips for new users of any mfx unit:

1) concentrate on getting only one preset to perfection before trying all options.

2) pick and amp/cab combination that you are familiar with in real life. set the dials like you would in real life...then spent some time to eq and figure out why the mfx unit doesn't sound like real life.

3) after you get your first good preset sounding right, then add effects. don't overdo it.

4) play your new preset at band volume and don't get mad when it sounds nothing like it did at home. save your home-built preset and tweak a version of it to sound right with your full range/pa setup.

once i followed the plan i just listed, i was up and running in minutes.......before that it took weeks and still no good presets.
