Hey guys!!
Here's my latest collaboration cover with good buddy Stefano Como, one of my all time favorite power ballads :) I really think Stefano did a fantastic job on this one, definitely not the easiest song to cover! All the guitar tones you hear are coming from the Fractal Audio AxeFx2! Guitars, bass, drum programming, mixing and mastering are all done by me! check it out! ;)
 
You NAILED the acoustic tone for sure man ... Holy shit. NICE! The guitar tone is a bit more gainy than the original, but other than that this is bad ass man!
 
Wow, that was a really good job! I don't comment on a lot of clips, but yours is very deserving. You nailed every detail of the solo, which I know because my band covered this song a few years back. The mix is great too. Don't worry about being too gainy - that's exactly how the band has been playing it live for the past 20 years.

Your singer has a great voice, and this isn't an easy song to sing. To give constructive commentary, I'd suggest he use less fast vibrato. His voice sounds so good that it doesn't need to be covered up during his sustained notes.

Again, fantastic job all around!
 
Bring back the 70s, 80s & early 90s......nothing released nowadays is as rockin’ / melodic & full of cool riffs/solos :rock:

Great playing/mixing/vocals.....

Both acoustic & AxeFx rhythm/lead tones are great!
 
thanks guys!! yeah definitely a bit more gain than the original! the acoustic is just my 80 bucks chinese guitar with an sm57 in front lol it sounds decent :D

sure man go ahead! Michael is one of my favorite producers! my mix doesn't hold a candle to the original though hahah but it'd be great to have a feedback from the man himself!
 
well done man, love that song and it's fun to play. You nailed it great. That is a hard song for a singer, I used to have to drop down a full step for my buddy singing to have any chance of staying in tune and it was still hard on the ending solo bit.
 
Excellent as always! Love the Charvel Model 2. I had one in candy blue back in the day.

Dude that was great. Legit equation though... there has been so much talk about issues posting covers on YouTube, are you not worried at all about vids getting pulled? I LOVE recording covers and have been worried about posting them.

I've never had problems with them, until now at least! fingers crossed lol Most of the time they just disable the monetization,but I never had any video removed
