Slammed action on 10-14" radius?

I'm pretty used to 15-16" boards and on my old Music Man JP, what with the adjustable saddles, a pretty slammed action.

I take it with the superb Suhr fretwork, something akin to this will be attainable despite the slightly rounder 14" radius at the dusty end?

YES, YES, YES!!!!! I like micro action an actually had to bring it up a notch to get 'under' it a little easier for bends, vibrato, random abuse.... I'm really amazed with All the pieces weve seen at the shop, that's from the Modern LE's to the Pro series stuff.... very loooooow action, 4 sure... Plec'd is a good thing!!!

Oh sweet. So the 10-14" radius doesn't impact much on the ability to get a real low action? I was kinda concerned since my Ibanez has a 16" and my JP had 15" and both were capable of pretty low action, especially the JP.

What is the radius of the Gotoh floyd they're using?

ya know, I'm not sure, but I just recently pulled the Gotoh in favor of a Floyd I had, and it Dropped in, a few turns on the claw screws an that's that... Nothing wrong, just a lame, personal choice for me...  Point is comparitively speaking, I have to imagine theyre in the same ball park, 10-14"? both these bridges seem to fit on anything in that range and do well, IMO....

Why don't you just have Suhr make you one with a 16" radius?

A custom model is perhaps a little out of my price range at the minute.

I've got my modern 10-14 set just above 1/16th of an inch at the 12th and 24th frets

That's pretty medium. Both of us like it closer to 1/32'' or lower.

Exactly.

My bad. I re-measured and I'm slightly over 1/32" with virtually no buzz

Could you go lower if you accepted *some* buzz?
