Looks like slash has yet another sig coming out. This time one based on a '58

Cha Ching. Cash register model. Need slash hands though.

He just had the green anaconda that came out and now another one? I love the appetite les Paul like anyone but this is all stuff he won't ever play. I can't blame them, someone needs it for their collection of Slash gear

He'll be playing this stuff live...no doubt.

I bought one of he last production 1958's from sweetwater in bourbon burst for $3600 two months ago... the slash with be a gazillion bux most likely.

Good deal for a new R8! I had a 2016 Bourbon Burst R8 with an absolutely killer flame. Good sounding/playing guitar too, but I couldn't deal with the neck size.

EDIT: Oh yeah, it was a bit ridiculous 3 signature guitars ago Slash, now it's just shameless. (this is coming from a fairly big Slash fan too...)

I grabbed one of these Anacondas (#28) from Wildwood last month. The green tops are very cool, dark back which is even better. The neck sits between a 58/59 carve, which is perfect for me and the weight is right at 8 1/2lb. There's nothing on it that says "Slash", which is good. The guitar plays well too. I was going to sit it aside and not get it fucked up. But, took it to gig with the other night. Was going to play a few songs at the opening of the set with it, but ended up playing damn near the whole set with it. Keeping it mint went out the window as it came back with a few whiskey dents and some rash. Also, Gibson doesn't predrill the pickguard hole on it, which was good. Its a fine LP right off the shelf and no issues. Pick ups match well with about any amp.

You talking about the one on his Facebook page?

Meh. Some flame on that top wouldn’t hurt.

I once saw a birdseye top that was sexier than almost any flame top I've seen, but haven't seen one of those since. I dig this look at lot. One thing about Gibson is they are the best when it comes to relicing guitars.
