Just saw on fb that a Slash sig Firebird is to be released Thursday. Black and and white versions.

Was looking at those too. Pretty cool. Always wanted a Firebird.

LOL exactly. It was a ghost build, but I can't remember who did it right now.

I believe the ghost builders of Slash's Les Paul was Chris Derrig (deceased) and Peter "Max" Baranet.

Any news on prices? They look killer!

They look great! I think they're gonna be 2000 or more, seeing as they are relic'd :(

That white one though, absolute killer looking

Meh... not that enticed by it. I would go straight up Explorer or a Paul Stanley sig. before this thing. Besides, live he mostly plays his trusted Les Pauls so $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ endorsement must be helping to pay divorce settlement bills.

That trans black is killer but I'm sure it's crazy money

I don't really care about "Signature" guitars. If you're a die-hard fan and want one, cool, but I'd prefer a solid example minus the association. How many people think of anything but a Les Paul (Gibson or not) when they think of Slash? Doesn't make sense...

Just my .02...

Oh I could give two farts about the Slash association. I like that it is a distressed Firebird with hum buckers in some good color options. Saves me the trouble of BUYING a regular T-burd, routing it for buckers and being dissatisfied with a tobacco burst...

I like it, too. I'd like it better if it didn't have a Slash related emblem or the associated price hike...
