Ok maybe I'm crazy but anything I have plugged into an AVT Marshall cab especially solid state gear sounds great. I've even tried a mesa Dual rec the three channel and it was awesome. I'm seriously considering getting one as a back up or to leave at the jam space instead of lugging a mesa cab around. Is that ridiculous? Does anyone know anything about these cabs? Until I found this the only sleeper I knew about was the Ibanez tone blaster.

Some other cheap/sleeper cabs include the Marshall MF cabs, 300 or less, or the Peavey Butcher/VTM cabs for even less like 200 or so. Those cabs can handle a full size 100w tube head though, your AVT cab might not handle that wattage. I've never tried an AVT cab, not sure what speakers are in it. Way back when I had my ADA/Mosvalve rig I ran it through a Hughes n Kettner cab with G12L 35 celestions...lower wattage greenback type. Nice sounding cab from what I remember lol.

i did have q bud years ago that swore by his mg cab with a pair of 100w celestions, that he basically used like an oversized 2x12. If it sounds good and doesnt fart under volume, then awesome.

There's one at my local gc I'm going to put my rectoverb through it for a test run

The old Randall cabs with jaguars I think are the best bang for the buck cabs out there. You can find them for $100
