I notice in a lot of youtube vids people generally have the presence and treble at noon and above and their clips sounds great. I also hear people say that Friedmans are voiced a bit dark. I find myself dialing the presence and treble fairly low (like 9-10 o'clock) to avoid ice pick highs.
I like bright, crunchy Marshally goodness as much as the next guy. But raising the presence and treble above noon is crazy bright on the BE channel with a little volume. The cab is a Friedman 2x12 and is currently loaded with a 65W Creamback and V30, both fairly new. Is it just a matter of breaking these speakers in a bit more or is this typical?
