Haha, it might not. I forgot it's an LTD and not a real ESP. Actually I just checked and it's discontinued? Here's the thread if you wanna check it out by the way.
We bought our two little girls the 3/4 scale Squires and they are very playable. The only thing that you have to watch out for is the bridge saddle on the low E string lowering on a regular basis. I simply grab the screws with my fingernails and raise the saddle every now and then. If you wanted, you could put a drop of super glue or thread-tite on the saddle screws.
Plus, the small radius on the fretboard is great for little girls' hands. I think the scale is something like 22 1/2 inches, so it isn't a stretch to jump up to a standard scale when they grow out of the 3/4 scale.
+1 on the Vee Wee. Bought my boy one with a little amp and gig bag for like $130 from Sweetwater. You can get them just about anywhere, but Sweetwater had a black one...
The Ibanez Micro is a pretty nice guitar. Would have bought my son one, but they don't come in lefty. Bought him a full-size mexi-strat instead. He'll grow into it.
I really like the hello kitty squires, but I dont want to buy her a piece of crap. I want it to actually play decent. I checked around for the Kirk jr guitar. Nobody has it....
Shane at bmusic could get it for you, but he's in Australia and they pay out the ass for gear. I could ask him how much it would cost if you're interested though.
