I was about to pull the trigger on the Love Pedal Babyface tremolo, but then had second thoughts because it doesn't have tap tempo. Is there a small pedal (like the Babyface) that has tap??

It's gotta be able to do a choppy hard tremolo effect.

I am also curious about this, same thing I am looking for.

I checked out the Tap A Whirl, and while nice, it has way more features than I really need, and the price is pretty steep.

I may just have to go with the Babyface and forget about the tap tempo.

I would highly recommend the Catalinbread.

I agree, the Semaphore is nice, but it certainly isn't small. It's about the size of a toaster turned on one end.

hehe, true enough. I knew it wasn't in the "small" category but definitely had to put it out there. I LOVE the Semaphore. I have the single pedal (non-tap tempo) version and it's killer! Does the chop effect very well also.

I don't know of any single sized tremolo pedals with tap.

You could contact Black Cat Pedals directly and see if they could make you a Mini Trem where the second switch is Tap Tempo instead of the standard Speed control (which allows you to preset two separate speeds and change between them on the fly).

This would NOT be a cheap option though. The standard Mini Trem is almost $200.

I think the Suhr Jackrabbit is going to be the winner. But, I gotta pay off some other stuff first!

I just got the Babyface TREMolo from Lovdepedal and love it, small footprint and does the chop very well. I bought it specifically for Sevendust's Black and it had to be small, very little space available, no more room on my board with it now.

Here it is, first time on stage with it, just the Babyface TREMolo and my Bad Horsie II wah. Opening is good, but the second use of it @ 1:07 sounds better as I adjused my wah action.

Sorry about the poor lighting, it was a benefit show with 3 other bands, not our usual set up.

Very small foot print (Hammond 1590A housing if I remember correctly). I installed the white Davies knob after getting it.
