Smallbox 50 Love

I am into my second week with my Smallbox 50 head and I am really loving this little monster. No suggestions, wants or complaints. It takes pedals well so a built-in solo boost is not needed. The tone is perfect and everything works as it should.

One of these days I need to buy some recording equipment for my computer and make some recordings. I guess I could make some IPhone recordings, but they would not come out too good if I cranked the Smallbox as loud as I had it today. Today I had it louder than I ever have before. The amp just gets better the more you crank it. This thing is soooooooooooooooo cool!!!

I really loved this amp.

The "only" problem is that it have no boost for solos, and that makes me use pedal for boost.
Thats why I still use my Mesa Mark 5:25 for most shows, because it has a extra EQ that I can use for boosting solos.

I hate having to carry things. I just want to carry my guitar, cab 1x12 and my head.

Anyway, the Smallbox is the best amp tone I had, ever.

I´ve been using my Small box for almost a year. I use pedals for boost and if I need to jump up further I´ve got
some presets in my Strymon Timeline with a 2 dB boost. A great amp.
