So I got a Diezel VH4 effect pedal, not a DIY job either

Its a DIEFET.

Looks to me that the pedal predates the Diefet and look at the gut shot, it appears to be much different then the schematic.

Diezel stompbox simulation?

Once again it is not a Diefet, I translated the Q&A from another auction and it states something to the effect of different components, schematic etc.

Those translations suck but that is what I got out of it.

could be different.

the trimmers lead me to believe those are jfets . If not the diefet I am wondering if a vh4 reverse was done to make this one. you should make good pics of both sides of the bard when you get it.

In a nut sack its says something along the lines of:

for sale is a hand made pedal (in other words not made by a company but the person selling the pedal is not the person who made it)
It was made to sound like the distortion of a vh4
below is the description provided by the maker. (a copy and paste from the manual I think)
a short explanation of the vh4 sound blah blah blah....
the person that made it took a VH4 opened it up and basically put the gain channel into a stomp box by copying the what was in the VH4 (literally it says he referenced the vh4 routing)
to make it smaller he replaced some transistors in order to get the sound as close to a vh4
High grade components were used (well did you expect the maker to say "we use crap to make these")
It has volume and gain and in addition treble middle bass 3 band eq, and presence, for that deep sound we have added a 7th knob called deep that can be adjusted....
of course you can use an ac adapter or batteries but to avoid hum noise you really might want to stick to batteries.
for payment methods see below

※note: this stomp box is not an amp modeler, or amp simulator It was made based on the schematics of the vh4 but might not sound exactly like a vh4 (read don't blame me if this box actually sucks balls)
that's the end of the makers explanation....
The box was checked out and had no problems.

hummm after reading the description it sound like the maker cracked open a VH4 and copied the gain channel wiring and the result was something like although not entirely the same as a VH4.

Thanks for that translation, now I really look forward to getting this thing.
