for a LONG time.. I didn't kill the amp. Does this amp have some internal switching to bypass the output section for dumfux like me to save the amp?

Just curious. How long is a long time? Where you doing preamp out?

I accidentally ran my Splawn without a load but was only for a minute or so until I realized I had the speaker cable plugged into the FX send or something.

Splawn tranny's can handle it though

It's fine tho. Not a blown fuse, no blown resistors, no burning smell at all.

FWIW, the Deliverance manual says nothing about having a load on it. The Sig-X does, so does the Memphis which are newer amps. But I don't think it was something they missed.

I had a Rivera TBR 1SL that had circuitry which allowed you to do that. Not sure how it worked though...

Were you actually playing or was it just on without a load ?

Then you should always run it without a load!

The 50w 5150III amp has a headphone option.. But you have to keep your amp plugged in to the speaker for it to work.

Did you have the stand by switch flipped on or off?

I believe, that when you have the amp powered on, but have it on stand by, you don't have to have a cab plugged in. I do that all the time when I'm A/B ing two heads with the same cab. Turn both on, but leave the one not plugged into the cab in stand by.

As long as a guitar signal is not passing through the amp you should be fine.

If the amp was just sitting there, dimed or not, and you were not playing through it, then no damage should occur.

No but it has good transormers.

Understatement if the year.. And what an endorsement to how well the Deliverance is designed.

I called Fryette and told them what I did, and he said that their tranny's are proprietary custom built and super beefy. They said if I fucked it up, I'd know by now because shit would be blown up! I'm telling you, the amp didn't even smoke a little bit..

My amp is fine, and sounds great. But I still can't believe I didn't catch the fact that I didn't have my attenuator plugged in..

The amp is not for sale. :D

Was it on run or standby?
