So my buddy is now endorsed by Orange

I got an e-mail late last night about it. I'm jealous as F. I don't want to be a cock tease but I don't want to give out his name or what band he plays for etc. What I will say is that I see an Orange cab in my future. I have to one up him though. He'll be tracking with me for my release so hopefully I can just name drop

I think I'll go for a Dumble endorsement. What do you think?

I think you will be old, bald, tired, and very, very mad at the human race, once you even try to BUY a dumble, much less get an endorsement from him. It's nice to think about though huh ? I've heard good stuff about those orange cabs!

I may also get a Tiny Terror after 1st of the year. This wave of GAS is killing me. I just bought the Godin and the M4 should be here by end of month. Had his deal gone through any sooner I would be playing an AD or Rk30 right now

The Dumble thing was obviously a joke. I'd rather have a Rivera or Egnater endorsement (or both ). I fully intend to pursue it once all this crap is finalized. We'll see...

So which orange is your friend using? I would curious about the Thunderverb, I don't hear much about those amps.

I played the Thunderverb 50 (i think that was the wattage) and I really enjoyed it. Really simple amp to set up and sounds sweet. The built in attenuater was pretty cool and worked really well for low volume stuff.

As you can see I was a little flustered.

As of right now he is playing a Vox AC30cc with celestion blues. He also already picked up an Orange 4x12 a few months ago. He and I talked a bunch last night about what to do. He is leaning toward selling his current 4x12 and getting a 40th anniversary 4x12 to replace it. He is also considering getting 2 2x12's, one open back and mixing up the speakers.

As for a head the first choice is the Rocker 30 simply because he really doesn't need a clean channel. He'll be running the Orange and Vox A/B and won't need a loop as he has a GCX. I personally like what I've heard from the OR50 and Rockerverb 30. He'll also be getting a Tiny Terror to dick around with at the house. Truthfully I may get one too in a combo. I love those things.

Things are still very much in their infancy as you can see. No decisions have been made as to what will be acquired so suggestions and reviews are most welcome.
