So, my Rane DMS22 Mic Preamp showed up today.

Wow. I know it doesn't have any bling factor among the studio elite here, but DAMN, It blows away the Fisher Price preamps in my Yamaha MG10/2 $100 mixer.

Everything sounds tighter, more lush, more detailed, etc. It's EXACTLY what I needed.

I probably overpaid, but I don't care. It was a LOT less than an RNP or a True Systems.

Actually, It's was probably less than all of the dual channel entry-level preamps.

This time, I might actually get some clips ready. I have the EVM12S 1x12 in the closet with a Beta 57. It sounds killer.

guess which is which. They're each only about one minute long. They fade in.
