Do they sound like anything else or are they completely unique? Are they built well or are they kidn ehh on quality/reliabilty. Give me some information here people!!

I demoed one-an XL R-evo I think it was - a few years back and the guy ran through all the settings and we played it pretty loud. It was nothing special. More recently, I traded a Stiletto Ace combo for a Brunetti Pirata 141 tube mix head with 'Kurtstuff' from this forum. you could actually- via a knob- control the amount of 6L6 or EL34 in the mix or have only one set at any one time.

Very cool and the amp was pretty good for hard rock and great cleans and crunch but the low end was flubby and it was very fizzy at high gain.
It did not hold up to well at very loud volumes like my Soldano and Diezel but the quality and workmanship seemed really good. If the low end was not flubby, I would have kept it as I liked the lead tones I was getting. They market it as 'high gain, agressive tone' but it was best siuted to hard rock and not metal,IMO. There are 2 versions of this head, though, so maybe the other is better...
