Residents have been told they can't go on their property for 18 months at a minimum and are not issuing permits for cleanup.......Bass kept lying about that timeline and residents kept confirming the 18 month timeline during the meeting yet Bass lied right to President Trump's face and he knew it.

It's worth it to watch the entire meeting......Trump is fully informed and they can't handle it.........

Yep
It’s stunning how out of touch that marxist bitch is. Also stunning the people of cali don’t string her incompetent ass up from the nearest tree.

"Of the 11,151 votes cast from those precincts, 71.17% went for Harris, while Trump and RFK Jr. received just 27.75% and 1.08% of the Palisadian vote, respectively."

So these rich fucks voted in politicians that destroyed their ability to get insurance coverage, and now they want everyone else in the country (most of which they would enjoy spitting on) to pay to rebuild their mansions on the most expensive real estate in the country. OK.

I find it hard to feel sorry for them.

That's beginning to look like the plan..............I'd say not a fookin penny until the hurricane victims get bailed out because at least that was fuckin natural disaster and most of those people didn't live in a flood plain, they need to be made whole first.....but you watch only Cali will dominate the media landscape..........

There is alot of middle class people in the area as well though...most of these homes of middle class Californians have been caught up in an inflationary market because of the wealthy homes in the surrounding areas. Kinda like a way to drive lower income and middle income out of the area...

The median home price in Altadena, California was $1.3 million in December 2024. This is a 9.2% increase from the previous year according to Google.

Makes one wonder that the large insurance companies just happened to pull out of over 70% of the Palisades area cancelling policies that people have paid premiums for decades with no claims and the insurance companies don't pay a single claim and now the politicians want the American taxpayers to bail out California....I agree.... kinda feels like some subterfuge going on........:dunno:

I think the insurance companies went around and looked at fire hydrants and said 'fix yo shit' but the dem politicians the residents vote for hire people for 750k a year that don't do anything so the insurance agencies pulled out.
It's been completely memory holed that 2024 was one of the wettest years in the past 100 for that area of California, doesn't anyone remember all the reservoirs being completely full and Tulare lake filling back up? Guess not. Literally handed a get out of jail free card and they fucked it up.
