So what is out there dc power that supplies at least 1200ma?

So far I have two pedals that will not function with a pedal power brick, one I knew since it takes 1.5 amps to run and the Eventide is 1200ma. I dont want to start running wall warts all over my board  the voodoo is still going to handle the others though so that is all good but is there something more heavy duty out there?

Kind of pissing me off as I maintain and design dc power plants that serve up over 8000 amps that power routers that carry the world's i-net traffic  I am asking for one spot that gives me 1200ma

The new Godlyke power-alls supply 2.0Amps (2000mA), the older ones were 1.7amps (1700mA). I think the onespots are 1.7Amps (1700mA) as I remember.

Saw that but it want isolated power per pedal and that is a max of 2000ma, after the eventide I would have 800 left with 6-8 pedals left.

I have a bad feeling I will have to go with a small strip under the board

Digitech has a wall wart that supplies 1300ma@ 9volts. PS0913 I think is the part #.

Are you worried about the extra pound that will weigh or the sadness of having something under the board that you will never see? :)

I wouldn't sweat it. I had two old MXR pedals on my big board (a vintage chorus and flanger) that had AC power only... Sure it's not as neat looking, but hell, who looks under your pedalboard?

After going out of my basement, load into the Yukon, and back into another basement with an old Mesa 1/2 back my load is blown so yeah the extra pound does matter Pete

Not really and yeah dont care what it looks like under the board, just cannot believe these multi dc power supplies are not beefier

I think (from this past NAMM) Voodoo Labs is releasing a new Pedal Power that will power both the TC Nova and Eventide Mod pedals. I don't remember when the release date is though....

I don't think the manufacturers think you need that much power. Most analog pedals are under 35mA and most digital are under 100mA per pedal.

The Power-all and onespot supplies are switch mode power supplies which can provide more power in a smaller space compared to the old school linear supplies where you need a big transformer.

I have one pedal that has 300vdc running in it due to three tubes

Man this pedal board is getting out of hand from what my original concept was, I dont think a pedaltrain pro is large enough now

Maybe I should just sell all this shit and buy an axe-fx
