This is some highly figured redwood I just jointed and glued which comes from a 1500-2000 years old salvaged giant redwood tree...

on the picture you can see 1 top I just bookmatched, jointed and glued to a sapelli mahogany body...

yep, I like flame more that quilt but on the right guitar quilt can be awesome. I prefer trans finises wher you can see wood grains.
