Steavens Poundcake MkII 100 Watt 4 channel head. Hand Made in Germany by Bernard Stephen.

If you are looking at one of these, make sure you get the 100 watt 4 channel version as the 50w version is missing the (ch #3 ) ‘Meat’ channel, which, in my opinion, is definitely a highlight of this amp.

If you're familiar with the Poundcake, this one is in pretty much mint condition, no marks or scrapes or tears or anything that I can see,

What is the black cat mod?

It’s the rhythm channel that Rick is doing on, (I think), all of his recent amplifiers, it has two gain boosts and gets you almost as much available gain as the lead channel, although a different voicing, of course.

I was only able to find one clip of this amp, a 50w version on YouTube. I was surprised. Sounded really good. Are there any other clips out there?

I’d love this in my collection but don’t have what you want . Cool amp . A beautiful amp . My Hermansson comes next month so let’s hope I don’t wann trade it you know lol

The inside reminds of a Bogner. I have heard these are really cool amps, looks nice.

Our very own Jeff Hilligan used to own one here's his clip....

I had that one after him.. it was great but I later went in a different direction and regrettably ended up selling.
They are great amps.
