is the back cavity just perma-opened?? what's the retail on these babies brand new?? 5 position pickup selector??

Correct - these don't come with a back cover. $2299 new and yes on the 5 position switch!

i have failed to "bond" with any bolt-neck guitar - Tyler, Suhr, Fender, Charvel, etc etc etc... i think i want this one just to fkn look at it
