Simple rig: Soldano SLO with1x12 cab and pedalboard w/two TC Flashbacks, TC Gravy chorus, Pitch Black, Phase 90.... and my trusty Suhr S2! Rolling the guitar volume down gets great cleans on the Crunch channel....and the Overdrive channel, well you know!! Very clear sounding rig with lots of punch and articulation! :)

Do you use any pedals in the loop?

Yes, using the Flashback's in the loop (one for dry delay and the other for modulation/delay). The Flashback works great in the SLO loop!

So the Slo gets clean enough for P&W tunes? This is the main reason I went with the 5150III years ago over a SLO, I needed that crystal clean tone. I couldn't seem to get it when demo'ing it in the store.

Great looking (and I bet sounding) rig. I guess you don't get to crank the full 100 watts, especially with only a 1x12 (and the venue :D ).

You haven't found a need for a Tremolo?

It's barely cranked at all but obviously mic'd and still pretty full in the house PA. I prefer a "dirty" clean and actually use the Crunch channel more than the Ovdrve side. I've never had a need for tremolo....but the TC Gravy pedal has a tremolo setting on it.....may try it sometime. :)

Yeah some pedals seem to work fine. Is the loop buffered?

Nice man!
Everything you need in sizeable footprint, wish I was as economical as you are!

Well the TC's have a "buffered" setting inside the pedal that is switched "ON", this allows trail-off's when pedal is switched off....plus the SLO loop is tube buffered. No loss of high's with my pedalboard (4-cable method) with Planet Waves (solderless connectors).

Nice setup man  Would love to hear the service

What speaker in the 1x12?

I just ask about the tremolo because it seems that all the modern PW songs seem to have some of it somewhere in the mix   How do you use the 2 delays? One for subtle effect and the other set extremely wet?

Thanks! It's an Earcandy 1x12 ported cab with a Celestion 75. It seems to work well with the SLO in this cab.

Yeah, there are way too many "Coldplay" 'esq fanboi's out there these days. I don't like that stuff and I actually push back when asked to be that type of player...I'm a rock guy who grew up in the 80's! I can do the "volume swells" with chorus/delay but I don't want to get all crazy with tremolo and over processed keyboard sounds!

I run a 1x12 FL closed back with a Eminence delta pro (EV style) w/a 100W Einstein for grab and go rigs. Let's me turn up the amp more without getting tons of extra volume. Love the tight compact full sounding rigs. I have a small pedal board too. Timeline, Lex, ISP and vol ped. in the loop. Koko boost, Corona chorus out front. I think I'm gonna ditch the corona for a gravy. I like the vibrato option on it.
