Soldano astroverb vs fargen miniplex

I had an Astroverb and it was nice, didn't blow my hair back, better for mid gain and classic rock, but a boost and bigger cabinet would get it to modern rock. The combo I had was light, and after the terrible packing the seller sent it to me in, indestructible.
 
I had an Soldano Atomic 16 combo and it did the mid gain Classic rock thing and if you hit it with a OD/Boost it cooked. I had it hooked up to a VHT closed back 1x12" to thicken it up a bit
 
I had a Fargen Mightyplex (which is a 20w version of the mini with a loop), if you're looking for Marshall tones in a low wattage package, it's a good choice. It does exactly what it advertises with gain levels appropriate to each setting. GREAT sounding amp. The power scaling on it is also not really needed as the master volume is fantastic.
