Both EL 84 low watt , do they cover same sonic territory?

IMO no. The Budda is much rounder/warmer. The Soldano has much more cut.

My opinion is based on owning a couple SD18s but only having played Atomic/Astroverbs in stores. I don't know that I ever got the Soldanos up to a volume where you'd feel any sag but the Budda has a tube rec where the Soldano doesn't so my guess would be the Budda will be saggier.

The Soldano doesn't have as much gain as you think it should have, I mean it's not bad, but really needs a push.
