Soldano SLO Question

There's a shop nearby which has a Soldano SLO head for sale. It sounds great but I've got one question for you SLO owners out there: is it normal for the output transformer to make a bit of an audible hum? There's no hum in the amp's sound itself, just a mechanical hum which can be heard coming from amp.

Mine does. I think it's just electrical noise.
 
Transformers hum sometimes in a lot of amps. It can be annoying, but nothing to worry about.

I mixed up the OP. It's actually the power transformer that hums, which makes a little more sense.
 
Mine does a bit. I just chalk it up as being more noticeable due to the open nature of the headshell.
