I had one of these and sold it here on the forum about a year ago. I was heavily into H/S/S guitars so it wasn't getting the love that it deserved.
fast forward to 2 weeks ago and someone local is selling one that's been plek'd straight from Sweet water for a great price.
So I met up with him and grabbed it. I had no H/H guitars in my gig rotation except for my Les Paul, so I pulled the trigger.
Duncan Custom 5 in the bridge, Dimarzio liquifire in the neck. fantastic necks on these, it did need a slight shim (which I've had to do on all 3 Dks that I've owned), but other than that , mint and shreddy.
Roaring today through the Splawn. As much fun as I've been having using the mark Iv , this Splawn does it's own thing really well :)
