Does this little thing lack low-end when cranked, using a 4x12 or oversized 2x12? Some comments say it does, but some clips I've heard don't seem to be lacking anything, might be one of those things you have to feel more than hear.

Does it take boosts well, or is it like other Oranges and sound almost the same?

Best speakers with this amp? Vintage 30s? H30s? I'm thinking about a combo of those two if I pick a TT up.

Does it handle high output pickups, or sound better with low/medium? Do higher output pickups sound fuzzy, and lower more classic?

Is 15w loud enough for you to practice with a drummer? I know it's been asked a million times, some people are definitely doing it, but I'm curious about Rig-Talkers personal experiences since people here actually play shit before posting on the internet about it.

How much is the usual used street price on the TT head?

There's good tones all over the eq spectrum on the TT. I've had 2 and neither lacked low end. Mine took boosts well, and liked all sorts of pickups thought it seemed to sound best with high output hums. I used a 2x12 cab with 1xv30 and one greenback, but stock orange cabs come with v30s. For volume I'd say if your drummer absolutely pounds the skins you might have issues, but for the most part it's loud enough.

Let me add that tubes make a big difference. I used TAD el-84s and a 5751 in V1.

the other guitarist uses a dual terror (30w two channel), but even in 15w mode it's certainly loud enough for band rehearsal , some cracking tones in there, he's using it with a greenback loaded 1960ax cab, very tasty with p90s and takes to boosts/ods very nicely

used it on our recording, guitars panned left speaker is the dual terror through greenbacks
and i think sometimes there's a bit of a ceriatone OTS (clean 6l6 dumble clone) blended in,

right speaker is me with my old setup, SG --> BB preamp --> mesa boogie lonestar

That sounds pretty killer, music and tone. Thanks for sharing!

I had one for a while with a Matamp Green cabinet with G12T-75's. It sounded good to me when I first got it, but I got tired of the tone and the limited tone options on it. It's like the other Oranges, imo: one sound. It sounded good with both high and medium output pups. It was kind of rad with my late 70's Big Muff. but in the end, like I said, I got tired of it pretty quickly. It's loud enough to practice with a drummer unless you play with someone that really hits em, but you'll likely have it dimed.
