Those guys....I swear the shit runs thick and deep sometimes. That's a small doses site for me, as well as TDPRI.com. I dabble in blues, and do enjoy vintage amps, but man these guys are funny. There's two great threads over there right now, one about Bonnamassa copping black players entire act with plenty of racist accusations flying, and another about old school metal vocalists getting a bloozeman all riled up.

But c'mon dude white guys can't play the blues! I feel you though. I don't even go to TGP. My buddy frequents that place and e-mailed me the link. I can't handle it. HCAF either for that matter. I pretty much lurk grailtone for MTS scraps and spend most of my time bitching in here. This place is at least somewhat sane. Good info with minimal arguing. Moves a little slow these days but c'est la vie.

oh, the color will DEFINATELY affect the tone
for instance, pink will make your notes rather limp, with a bit of sag, Green will make you wear sandals and forget to use deodorant, and anything made out of black or brown leather will increase the sustain of your guitar for days
