This "official" "live" show cracks me up... the comments are hilarious too. "There goes another stratocaster.." Yngwie plays so damn fast on this that I think i'd rather play a pinball machine than listen to 2 hours of this. I think all my senses would feel raped after 4 songs. Ya gotta love the power and playing but the phrasing is looooooooong gone. Also dig the fake crowd and horrible editing..doesn't he realize that only guitar players listen to him? I wish 100 people in a bar sounded like a crowd at an AC DC concert though, that would be bitchin. Luckily for Yngwie, they do !

Enjoy!

I'm not sure what was more hilarious: the horse shit hair extensions, the facelift scar under the chin or the geriatric Elvis kick. Takin Care O Business Yngwie....lol

That is a fake Yngwie. The fake Yngwie and the keyboardist need to cut back on the Krispy Kreme donuts.

This is the real Yngwie Malmsteen

Sounds like 1h:28m of one continuous song. :(

I used to like YJM when he was in Alcatraz, with Graham Bonnet. Graham to me was the Halen DLR for YJM. They kicked serious arse back then.

Wow, that was one terrible video, you get the feeling like there are several Yngwies on stage. No professional editors were harmed in the making of this video.

As for the music and show, well... at least he still tours and hopefully enjoys it.

He can be real cheesy at times, but between Alcatrazz and the fact he released Rising Force in 1984, he pretty much gets a free pass. And watching him live IMHO is pretty incredible. Cheesy kicks and all, he brings it and show boats.

I love Yngwie up to 89 in Leningrad.... he totally gets a pass for that. Untouchable. Hell I would probably still go to a show and leave after 4-5 songs. It is just sad to see. There is no cohesion up there. It is like a runaway train. Feel terrible for the band. He is always playing ahead of the beat.

Love the old Yngwie, but when I saw him about 3-4 years ago, I really didn't like the show at all. He was playing 100 miles an hour the whole time, it was ear-splitting loud, and half the time he wasn't even playing guitar he was just throwing it around and kicking picks around just like in that video. I don't think I'll be seeing another show again.

Saw him a couple of times in the 80's and he was unbelievable and on fire. Then again in the early 2000's opening up for Steve Vai, can't remember the tour, anyway he was just not himself. Need to stop doing the kicks, lame.

Lol.... @ 58:40
He staged the whole half audience scream thing.

Hahaha.. Funny shit.

Still love the guy though

I still love the the guy and he can still play.

I like early Yngwie the best. The Alcatrazz live album is awesome. He was cool in Steeler but I wasn't a fan of the songs. First time I heard the guy I was was in awe, it was Evil Eye from the Live Alcatrazz album played on Detroit radio. Rising Force and Marching out are excellent albums. The last Yngwie album I bought was Trilogy.

I was into Randy and Eddie at the time....I had to hit the wood shed. I never played arpeggios like that until I heard Yngwie.

Always have been a huge YJM fan. I got to see him in 87 and it was killer....however, I could not watch more than 4 min of this video

See the top comment by Callum Warrender? That's me haha, so many fanboys going nuts at me
