i agree.... my friend that owns a studio has a 50w w/ ''not EL34's'' not sure maybe 6550's and that hasnt got any master volume or Mods and running it through a 1968 marshall 4x12 sounds JUST like EVH (that vibe not my playing) with some gibson 57 classic pickups in a guitar

To me VH1(first VH album) alway's sounded more like a 50 watt then a 100 watt.VH II sounds more like a 100 watt.Nice clip Rockstah...

Can this tone be achieved at gig volumes? Usually your clips are at a very low setting on the PPIMV
