Songs for a duet singer and acoustic?

Hey, guys. So my father's friend who sings at some bars and restaurants asked me if I wanted to play some songs with him on my acoustic. He normally just had a backing track and sings to the likes of sinatra and some more 60's and 70's upbeat stuff. Any suggestions for what we might be able to play together? Thanks everyone!
 
I think that all depends on his voice. Maybe just learn the songs he was using back tracks for
 
Yea, I guess we can do that. Though he was expecting me to come up with some material. He's got a smooth voice that can get into the classic rock register from time to time
