I find I don't use my Univibe or Phase 90 pedals as much as I would like. I wish there was a database where you could type in the band and song and see what effects they used on the song. Better yet, where you could put in the effect and see a list of songs the effect is used on. In my development, I am still learning when to apply effects and to better pick them out of the songs. With as long as I have been playing, I feel this a good development opporotunity.

Anyway, so please list song good songs to check out with vibe or Phase 90. I am into Classic metal, hard rock, classic rock, etc. I assume that most people run their Univibes in Vibrato mode as opposed to Chorus mode...

The sound of the Univibe is the Chorus mode. The Vibrato mode is not it's main appeal.

Check out and old Robin Trower stuff, Bridge Of Sighs to name one, for the sound of a Univibe in Chorus mode.

The Phase 90 of course was used a lot by EVH, but Page used it before him on the Wanton Song and Achilles Last Stand.
I like using it live, just kick it on for parts that need to fill out more, I like it on my clean tone too, I use it for the clean parts in Hotel California when we play it.

Best effect pedal ever because it sounds so musical. It's actually the only effect I use other than delay and reverb in the loop

Trower, Hendrix, SRV all vibe or leslie rotocab users. Bridge of Sighs is the tone I'm hearing when I'm fooling with one.

The guy in Incubus used a phaser a lot.

Hey, how bout George Lynch. :D

The rhythm guitar in the Stones "Shattered" is all phaser (not sure which model). Ted used one on "Stranglehold" too.

This. Bridge of Sighs is the best example of great Uvibe tone imo.

The whole Pride & Glory album has Rotovibe all over it! It's a little more subtle than Robin Trower, but its a very cool underpinning of that album.

Iron Maiden has a tune or two with phase, think mostly on the Number of the Beast album?

I think mine is in vibrato mode now

I was aware of Robin Trower and Hendrix using a Univibe and of course EVH using a Phase 90. Problem is I am not sure I have the chops to play all their songs  Some of the others listed, I wasn't, keep them coming, especially if they are a bit off the ones that everybody knows...
