Hey Guys!

I orderd a Diezel Einstein Top (50 w) a week ago and cant wait to get it.

but i do have some questions, hope you can help me out!
Some questions might sound silly, but i'm not a pro and a bit weird too

1) I'd like to use my old Kitty Hawk 4x12 Cab (must be from the late 90ties) for my new top. it has 2 inputs, it looks like this

Input --------------------------------Input
4x12 mono ---------------------------2x12 stereo
8 Ohm ----------------------------- 4 Ohm
280 W ------------------------------140 W

the Einstein top has 1 16 Ohm, 2 8 Ohm and 2 4 Ohm outputs.
So is it possible to use the cab? why are there 2 8 ohm outputs?

2) I'd like to use a reverb as well. Could you recommend me some ( boss rv5, holy grail,...?) that work well with diezel?

3) Is it better to use the reverb in the paralel or the serial loop?

thanks dudes!

cheers

There are 5 speaker jacks: 1 for a 16-Ohm load, 2 for 2 16-Ohm loads or 1 8Ohm load, and 2 for 2 8-Ohm loads or 1 4-Ohm load. Confusing? Oh, yes! Just do what it says on the jacks, and you’ll be fine.

Reverb should be in serial. Try parallel if you's like.

but i have to put just ONE cabel from ONE 8 ohm out to 8 ohm in, right?
hahaha i dont get it

on your cab the left jack (mono) into either of the 8 Ohm outs of your amp.

Rocktron, TC, Lexicon . . . Personally I'd use rack stuff, get a midi pedal, and then switch the amp and fx simult. via midi.

In the next step you can think about getting the amp modded, so you can also switch the ch1/modes via midi.

yeah, thought about that... tubelit does ist, right? seemed really nice, pseudo 4 channel...nais
but i'd like to play it for a while and then we'll see...

so that means the rack stuff your 're puttin through the loop`?

I've used in the past with Einstein, VH4 and Herbert (don't own one at the moment):
TC Major I and II (still own the II), Rocktron Multivale and Xpression.

nais, thanks for all the information....as already said, im everything but a pro...

your amps sounding nice, by the way ( watched all the vids ^^)
