Ok. These sounding better?

This guitar has a Fishman Fluence Modern Ceramic

Stupid chugging with the Super Lead/OD808

Triple Recto unboosted. Listening back on headphones, there’s way too much bass

Same riffing on the Super Lead/OD808

Marked for later listen...My Job blocks any & all Youtube vids

And here's the same Super Lead settings with an EMG 57-8. I even butchered Lay It Down for you guys at the end

These sound better to me than the first batch. Nice adjustments!

Thanks! I think I'm just going to have to accept that I'll want different guitars for the different styles. I really do prefer the passive Dimarzio Super Distortion/PAF combo for the top 6 or 7 strings for my typical rock/metal stuff. But if I'm wanting to really sit on the F# string and riff, the Fluence Modern really does handle that better but its just a bit too METAL for me most of the time.

Luckily I'm fortunate to have the two PT8s, one with the Dimarzios and one with the Fluences, so it'll work out fine.
