Does anybody know where I can find regular, white plastic Strat control knobs with either silver or black text on them instead of the more standard gold text? I would prefer silver text, if at all possible, as it will match better with the chrome hardware on the guitar.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have exhausted my Google search capabilities!

Wouldn't a small enough tipped silver paint pen or paint brush work if u can't find them?

It might, but I'm incredibly lazy and would prefer to buy them ready to roll.....

Just get the gold...after a few months of gigging they all look black anyway ;)

You said that you're incredibly lazy...I'm just trying to help

Diego and Luke: Thanks, guys. I actually did come across those solid white ones on eBay late last night. Definitely a fall back option.

As for the witch hats: I don't think they're ideal for doing volume swells with your pinky (which I do a lot), and they are likely too tall for the position of the volume control on a Strat always. I'd probably be smashing my hand on the knob all of the time! I could be wrong about the height..... Anyways, thanks for the suggestion though!

The plain white ones could easily be converted to black with a grease pencil or crayon...just rub it into the recesses and wipe of the extra...done. Even the laziest among us could complete that task in the time it takes to read this thread :D
