how heavy can the JMP get? heard guys use them live before but always been so much other shit with it ya cant tell. plus it was always rock. doesnt that have 12ax7's in it?

JMP-1 can get very heavy, one of my favourite rigs Ive ever had. I only got rid of it as with the mesa power amp and effects etc, it weighed a freaking ton.

ya it gets quite pissed off. It has 2 clean channels a crunch chanel and a lead channel. It also hass 99 channels so you can make different presets etc and comes with a footswitch for 4 channels. I should mention that Im looking for another bass so if you have a Fender Jazz, Id be willing to trade for that

i once had the marshall 50/50 power amp..the easy bake oven tube one than, bradshaw modded for 5881s.

it was ok with my triaxis but i upgraded to a rivera tbr-1 stereo power section which sounded way better to me, and traded the marshall in at GC...

when the sales guy plugged in to check it, he used a jmp-1 pre, and it was an incredible difference. the marshall tones just jumped outta that pre/power pairing...way more than the triaxis marshall emulations could offer.

dude its a great price, Im taking a big loss here. does everything from ectreme gain to crystal cleans. hass 99 programable channels with 4 different marshall voicings etc. includes the foot switch etc. GREAT setup...hurry up and sell your Randall!
