O.k....with heavy heart I part with this.
I built this fiddle in appx 84' - 85' at the time when you could go to the Warmoths home and the showroom was their living room, right after they purchased the machinery from Lynn Elsworth. Drove up there and picked it out of the racks... I may be off by a year, but it's a 20+ year old guitar.
It has been heavily modded.
*Alder body - heel recessed
*Maple / ebony neck - scalloped, shaved
* Originally an Explorer headstock...
*Original Floyd Rose (I still have the box it came in...) that is on the original screw in type studs. Not recessed.
* Gotoh buckers (Duncan Invader copies)
The guitar has been 3 different colors but is now a metalflake silver with colored specks. They only really show up under direct light or flash as can be seen. Overall good condition for 20 yr old guitar. As would be expected to the pointy tip is chipped. Neck is on the thinner side. Scalloping was done by Portland Luthier / Classical guitar builder Wes Brandt when he worked at the 12th Fret in appx 86'.
I don't have a case for this guitar, will actually remove the neck and box up that way for shipping. Guitar will need a setup, will include a fresh set of strings for this.
HEY J.B. - IT HAS A FLOYD
$400 shipped / paypal'd....
Thanks for looking ~
