hey fellas..

got an EVH 212 cab i keep "kickstanded"
noticed recently a buzzing. sounds, to me, more like a buzz than a rattle.
seems to originate on the right side. sitting the cab on all fours, i swear it goes away...kinda hard to hear

any ideas what it could be? if i need to i can try to record it so you guys can hear it

thanks guys!

Stick a DMM on the jack and see what the impedance reads. If it is a blown speaker, a meter will let you know the basket shorted.

If the sound changes with positioning the cab, seems like it would be a cab issue, not a speaker issue. I had a 412 that developed a weird rattle on certain notes cranked so I went into it and applied wood glue to all the seams, one seam at a time, positioning the cab so the glue would run into the seam and set, then position it for the next one. It solved the issue, but I never knew which seam was the problem. I have no idea why it happened, but it worked.
