Hello !
I'm wondering about that , if speaker cable make a difference in tone or can reduce or increase "white noise(buzzingg, hissing etc ...) ?

And 93 cm (Monster performer speaker cable) will be enough to plug 4x12 to head ? Currently , i have a cheap crap cable from blackstar ht5h stack (1m lenght).

Generally a contentious issue. If there is a difference, it is very minimal and at gig volume, undetectable. I wouldn't worry yourself with speaker cable choice as long as you buy a decent quality cable with solid ends. Or use lamp cord.

This is coming from someone who bought an Evidence Siren 3 or 4 years ago...

but isnt it bad to use.. say an instrument cable to connect amp to cab?

I recently swapped out all of my old cables (guitar & patch) to Planet Waves "custom series" and I was surprised how much my tone improved. I was using a mix of Livewire and Whirlwind for years and I thought I had great tone(it was thin compared to the Planet Waves tone I have now). I tried Monster a couple years ago and thought those sounded like crap....Planet Waves for me.

A week later I replaced my old Pro-Co speaker cable with a Planet Waves (Custom Series) speaker cable...and again my tone was more balanced and full! It was worth the extra money to me!

I was really surprised by how thick and heavy duty those high-end Planet Waves speaker cables were when I ordered a couple.

Yes, it's bad to do that.

It doesn't have so much to do with tone as it does current resistence. If you have resistence in your speaker cable, the power stays in your tubes. Having fat cable can help prolong the life of your tubes, as well and boost the rig's performance.

The same is true with the inside of your cab. A chain is only as strong as it's weakest link. Wiring your speaker with fat cable gives you the same result as switching your speaker cable for the same reason.

Very true. I finally wired up one of my cabs with some decent thick copper wire (from a heavy duty industrial extension lead) and it has improved heaps.

I just need new speaker cables now.

So any suggestions on brands of good speaker cables to buy?

Kimber speaker cables are great for the money. Vovox if ya have the extra $ to spend. Either way get, figure out how long ya need the cable to be and get as close to that as possible without going over to much. No need to have more cable than you really need.

I just need a couple to go from amp to cab so, maybe a foot.

Also if you know, going from amp to pedal and then pedal to guitar requires BOTH instruments cable?

evidence sirens, but im sure theres cheaper that work as well..

Evidence Audio were my favorite, until I got my new Analysis Plus cables!!! Honestly, they're unreal. Well worth the extra cash.
