If I want to run two 8ohm cabs. Do I turn the dial to 8ohm and plug both in? I don't think I saw anything in the manual about this.

Plug both in... Select 4ohm. Your output transformer will be safe

Thanks, I'm assuming this is correct as no one else has chimed in. It my first Friedman so I'm just playing it safe.

You're safe bro... If you plug 1 8ohm loaded cab in... then select 8ohm of your Friedman. 2 8ohm cabs in...select 4ohm of amp. You're good to go. Cheers Dave makes some great gear

safe - I run 2 x 16 ohm cabs and you set the impedance to 8 Ohm for that
mesa boogie manuals have a pretty detailed explanation of impedance which is helpful
