Hey guys,

I have four speakers and trying to figure out how to blend.

I'm not changing speakers since I like these but I'm I have two cabs, one is larger interior volume than the other, deeper as well. One is a diagonal 212 that is 27*26*14, the horizontal 212 is 24*29*12 which is more vintage.

I'm big Redback fan and I have two available right now along with a (Mesa) V30 and K-100.

I know I want to do Redback/K100 and Redback/V30. I do like K100/V30 but mostly for metal. In this case I more wondering if speakers with a strong and punchy bass do better in smaller cabs or larger cabs?

Larger cabs have more lows, so is it better to use speakers with less lows to balance that out or more lows because the can can handle it?
In a smaller vintage style cab is it OK to use a bass heavy sp aker to add lows or would it struggle, hence less bassy speaker for the smaller cab?

To me it seems to make sense to do V30 in the larger, more internal volume cab and K100 in the shallower cab.

So Bogner 212 - Redback/K100 and Stage Craft diagonal 212 - Redback/V30!?

I've tried Redback/V30 and Redback/K100 in my Bogner 212 and Stone Age 212 and liked both. I feel like I recall the K00 not going well with the Bogner 212 but I can't recall.

My SA 212 has Redback/K100.

Thanks for your thoughts.
