Speaker Question (Scumback content)

I currently have a WDW right with a 4x12 center dry cab and 2 Scumback 1x12s as the L/R wet cabs. All 6 speakers are Scumback M75 65 watt speakers.

The rig will switch between a Friedman Dirty Shirley and a Smallbox 50. There will also be a 6L6 amp for clean all switched through an SS4 head switcher.

Has anyone played those Friedman amps through a cab with a mix of M75 and H75 speakers vs all M75s and had a positive experience? Jim suggested this combo and I know scumbacks are popular with the Friedman guys so I wanted to check.

I have never speaker mixed before. Not sure if an X patter or H75s as the bottom two would be better.

I've got the Sumback M/H75 mix in the 4x12 in my avatar. The M's are up top and the H's are on the bottom but I'm betting an X pattern would sound cool. I like the warmth and midrange of the M's and the chime and low end of the H's. I play gained up hard rock with that speaker setup and the small box. I wouldn't say I've found my holy grail tone but it's close
 
It will sound amazing regardless, especially with a bit of volume. I would do the bottom/top rather than X. I'd also highly recommend the LDC version of the H75. KILLER speaker.
 
My scumback m75/h75 Friedman cab sounded awesome last night with my SS100 and Luxxtone... and beers went down well too :cheers:

I think mine is X pattern
 
I use a Divided By 13 2x12 with M75/H75 combo, it's a great sounding combo!
