Speakers mix for Einstein, 2x12 cab.

Hey guys,
yesterday i went to music store with my Einstein and i plugged it in EVH 5150 III 2x12 cab with G12H-30 70th. It sounded really cool with 7 string though it was kinda dark. What i was wandering is how G12H-30 70th works with V30 in same cab compared to G12K-100 and V30 ? Any of you have experience with such a combo ? My cab is oversized 212 rear loaded with v30 atm.

Weird. In my experience, G12H-30 speakers are bright, not dark. Certainly brighter than a V30. Never tried a G12K, though.

I have the x pattern 2 g12h30 anniv. And 2 Vintage 30's in mine and wired at 8 ohms. I really enjoy the mix. It cuts right thru, but not dark at all.

I would think it would just make it brighter overall. The G12K-100 brings a bit more depth to the sound than the G12H-30 would. I would think G12H30 + Vintage 30 would get at bit fatiguing in the top end, BUT I admittedly like a darker tone - I love LOVE my Einstein with G12-65s.
