I forgot to put this in my NAMM thread. I went by the Anderson booth and checked out some guitars and was blown away. I used to be a dealer for them and always loved their guitars but seeing them this year reminded me how completely badass they are. IMHO, they are the absolute best boutique super strat builder period. All of their stuff is killer actually. Had a chance to sit and chat with Roy (Tom's right hand man pretty much) and had a good time.

it is as good as it gets IMHO - best damn sounding guitars to ever come across my hands. when you can make other guitars around you sound thin and lifeless in guitar center and the only difference you did was pick up and play an anderson, you know they are doing something right

i had store guys coming up to me and asking me who makes the guitar, what it was, commenting on the tone, etc - and i was the same person playing a cheap MIM strat 20 minutes earlier that no one could have given two flip shits about

i want a tom anderson guitar in the future. one day............

It doesn't hurt that Tom is one of the coolest, most helpful guys you could ever hope to meet as well....and his guitars are second to none.

Anderson FTW

Have one on order for late March or early April delivery

you've got some of the most premiere gear known to man, id kill to be able to order my custom anderson

I recently picked up my first Anderson. I'm mostly an LP guy but was blown away by the tone and craftsmanship of my Drop Top. I usually have a hard time playing Strat style guitars, but with the Anderson it felt like home.

Actually, it was under $2500, and exactly what I wanted. No fancy top or anything, although I did just buy back my old drop top classic with Floyd :D

As soon as my next BRJ is delivered, I am ordering a super sick T.

Fuck Ya man, that bulldog was the shit!!!!

I'd have to agree with you,but saying it out loud (so to speak) around here is lighting the fuse.
I bought my Drop Top in 1994 Bora Bora blue with the switcheroo, and Kahler. It doesn't get much use
these days but i think it's one of the best guitars made,at any cost.
And Tom is one inovative cat

Hell No I hope not. Andersons are killer.

Anderson's are top notch - pickups, the woods, fit/finish quality, inovation, and customer satisfaction.

guys been doing it for years on top of it - he isnt new to this game.

definately worth the money invested, you'll get your return with an Anderson guitar no problem - either musically or financially, they will definately deliver the goods.
