Speaking of Bray Amps

Just saw that Vic Johnson (w/Sammy Hagar) will be part of the big 4th concert on TV.

Pretty sure he'll be using his signature amp. Dude's awesome.

To me the bottom end sounds woofy. I much prefer the tone from Michael R/T or Redplated. Tighter, but with as much bark.

Don't forget Monomyth...Shea's stuff is very tight and retains all the Marshallness.

I wonder how much of that is because he has the cab in a corner and close to both walls?

Bray heads need Greenbacks. Both of my 2x12's have a Redback/AlnicoCream combo, and my Bray gets along with them so-so. I recently played the head thru a friend's Greenback cab, and it was a different animal.

I was trying to stay in the realm of the same style of mod. I consider Monomyth to me more of a metal machine (which I much prefer) ?
