Went over to Bogners place in North Hollywood yesterday with Rob from Tone Merchants to visit Yorg and see what they are working on.

We played a bunch of stuff including the new Panama and Brixton heads featured at NAMM.

The Panama is a cool very low watt bedroom type amp, The Brixton has some more juice with a 12 and 30 watt model with just a few knobs and switched. They Sounded Amazing with some high gain and mid gain tones and you could crank it and get it working.

I thought the Brixton was incredible and sounded like the blue channel of the XTC 20th cranked but at a low volume. very cool!

Here are some pics.

Thanks. Very cool. What is that silver head with the black Bogner logo? I just emailed Jorg two days ago thanking him for the excellent customer service I received. I pasted him on the thread I started on my experience and mentioned that Rig-Talk would be great place for him to chime in once in awhile on the page Rob moderates for Bogner. I told him you would definitely welcome him.

Yorg is good people and he always intended to be here on RT. Some guys are internet guys and some guys are not. He doesnt mess with computers much.

Is Bogner going to come out with that poweramp they had at Namm last year?

What is that 3-knob wonder that has the weird graphics, and almost full size headshell??????

single Channel Blue-channel XTC amp?

I kept telling Charlie a few years ago they need to make a Plex-TC. Single channel amp, just the blue channel of the XTC.

--Maybe a brixton 30 with El34 on the weird graphic one ..it has the same 3 controls ..need a bigger box for the larger 34's

Sweet Jesus you are a lucky lucky man.

Thanks for sharing.

That Panama head was just killer at NAMM. If I had $1300 appx that I didn't need, I'd get one for sure haha.

Love the Brixton tone's. I may have to take a drive up to NoHo and check that out. thanks for posting

you just gave me incredible GAS for the Brixton

How modern does it get? Goes it have that vintage, spongy feel? And can you comment about the headroom on the clean channel?

That seriously looks like what I need... I have absolutely no need for this 100W Splawn
