Spent some time w/the Henning Bottle Rocket...

And it fucking slays! Some buds from "another" forum had an ampfest in CA today and Steve brought 2 Bottle Rockets, a Cherry Bomb and cab out. I didn't try the CB but I DID take the Bottle Rocket for a few laps around the block!

I gotta tell you, it SCREAMS! Just massive, pissed off hard rocking tone! Between picking dynamics, use of volume knob on the guitar and the dual gain knobs there are a LOT of tonal options. It sounds great and feels like it's built for war. Can't wait to spend some more time with it in the near future.

Also got to meet Mr. Bob Savage. Both he and Steve are super nice guys and I was glad to put some faces to the names.

Just to be clear guys, I did NOT set this thing up as a chance for people to demo my amp. This was a general amp fest - a get together of the folks in SoCal of this other forum to check out each other's personal amps. Since I participate at that forum, I said I'd come by and bring my amps. This was not my thing setup specifically for people to demo my amps. There were dozens of other amps there... If I ever set up my own event to come demo my amps, I'd, of course, invite folks from here as well...

Y'all, the amp fest was started by the guys in another forum that Steve and I are both members of. Hopefully no one is giving Steve guff about it. He just happened to be cool enough to bring a few amps down. Hell, I drove from Las Vegas so folks could hear the Splawn and Kemper.

I'm glad to see Jer says that it slays because Jer knows what's up. I had a feeling this amp was going to be killer so I wanted to see if I could find some clips.

Nothing that was recorded at the amp fest sounded good - we had the amp cranked up and it was too much for the phone pics...

I'm working on another clip as we speak that I think people will like...
