anyone using a helix to control a quick rod? how are you doing it?

Not sure about the Helix but I had the HX Effects and it would not switch the channels on my Splawn . Tried everything it would just make a loud hum.

It's really easy. Hook it up in 4cm and then one more cable to change channels. You probably want to use snapshots to save different sounds within a preset, especially if you like some effects on cleans and then different stuff on your dirt.

Mine does change them but since I was already doing a 4cm the amp switching created a ground loop since the relays aren't isolated. I ended up with a Voodoo Labs Control Switcher and switch all my amps thru the HX now, works like a charm and no noise.

great to hear, need to start figuring it out. just bought a 2011 and previously had a 2009 and the foot switch is different. the cable plugs into the foot switch with what looks like a midi end
