Hey guys, Josh is thinking of selling me his splawn cab. Whats the consesus on these bad boys compared to say, bogners? What do you all think of the cab make up and the big block/little block speakers?

My 2 x 12 with small blocks is one of the best cabs I've ever heard. Love the big blocks as well--about to load up a 1960A with them.

Great cab all the way around, the quality is great and the small block big block x pattern is excellent . Not much stuff I regret selling but the splawn cab was one of them for sure.

They are well built cabs and a good bang for the buck. I have a Splawn 4x12 bottom with Guv'nors and Man-o-wars. I use it with na older Quick Rod. I never ran anything else through it other than the QR so I can't really compare it to my Bogner 4x12 wv30's, the Bogner sounds good with whatever amp I use with it but I keep it paired with the Ecstasy...

I have a sb loaded 4x12 and a gov/mow loaded 2x12 and they both sound awesome

Build and sound quality are excellent. You wont be disappointed

To you guys who have an SB BB in an X pattern, how do you like it? I want to get a matching cab some time and not sure on which speaker and was thinking about the X pattern option.

My Bogner 412 (V30 & T75) sounds very good with all my heads. I have the Splawn 412 and 212 (both have SBs) and they're incredible with the Nitro and QR, but not as awesome with the VH4 or SLO.

All small block loaded cabs work great with amp with a excess amount of top end as they seem to tame them a bit, but when you add two big blocks to the mix it is a great balance. Put it this way it sits right between a all anniversary h30 loaded cab and a celestion evh loaded cab. Not too dark not to bright, very good sounding cab. I will post a ccv clip going thru this cab.

I have early 80's Greenbacks in a straight Splawn 4x12 that sounds absolutely glorious. I've had these speakers in many different cabs, and they've found a home in the Splawn.

So far no haters! Thought id get one or 2 detractors. Seems like I no brainer.

Anyone have to replace the spawn logo? This cab is missing one.

Top notch cab. I love mine. The only thing is, it's voiced for Scott's amps, so it may or may not be ideal with the Bogner. The build quality is top-notch!!! So if you don't quite gel with the speakers, you can always pop some V30's in there. The SB/BB's are terrific they're just really pissed-off sounding. Very tight and modern. I can plug my Budda SD80 into it and it sounds REALLY metal
Not sure if you're going for that or not.

I'm pretty sure if you ask Scott for a logo, he can sell you one.
